On which days do check-ins take place?
Check-ins are facilitated on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
How is the check-in organised?
The check-in is conducted by our appointed staff on behalf of the owner.
A check-in is always scheduled on the first available business day after all required steps have been completed, including a signed contract, full payment, and the submission of all required documents.
If a check-in cannot take place immediately after completion, the days in between will not be charged as rent.
Please note that we cannot confirm a check-in appointment in advance, since there are no guarantees that all formalities will be finalised on time. Scheduling starts only once the file is complete.
This method ensures equal treatment for all tenants and avoids excessive last-minute changes to the planning.
Once the file has been processed and approved, we will confirm the date and time of the check-in.
Who is allowed to be present during the check-in?
Only the tenant may be present during the check-in. Friends, relatives or other persons are not permitted to join. This allows our staff to carry out the inspection efficiently and without disturbance. The condition of the accommodation is objectively documented. At the end of the appointment, the tenant signs to acknowledge receipt of the check-in report.
If the tenant wishes to make additional remarks or observations, these can be submitted within 48 hours after the check-in in writing (with optional photographs) via the tenant portal (where available) or directly to the property manager. Please note that the inspection cannot be disputed or discussed on the spot due to the limited time of the agent and the neutral character of the recording.
Is it possible to arrange a check-in outside the standard schedule?
Check-ins outside the standard days or hours are not part of our regular process.
In exceptional cases, and subject to staff availability, it may be arranged.
A rescheduling fee of €250 excl. 21% VAT will apply to cover the additional planning, assignment of staff, and handling of the inspection outside standard hours.
