What is the Move Out Cleaning Service?
The Move Out Cleaning Service is an optional cleaning service that can be ordered after the check out process has taken place.
The service is intended to bring the accommodation back to a normal check out cleaning standard if additional cleaning is still required following the inspection.

What if cleaning is the only issue identified during the inspection?
If cleaning is the only deficiency identified and the Move Out Cleaning Service has been successfully performed under normal circumstances, no additional cleaning charges will be applied.

Does this service guarantee a full refund of my deposit?
No.
The final settlement is based on the findings of the final inspection and any other obligations under the tenancy agreement.
This service only addresses cleaning related items. It does not cover damages, missing inventory, repairs, unpaid charges, or any other deficiencies.

When can I order the service?
The service may be ordered any time before check-out takes place. After check-out it is not possible anymore.

What is included?
The service includes (room and studio's):
• Dusting accessible surfaces
• Vacuuming floors
• Mopping hard floors
• Cleaning skirting boards
• Cleaning radiators externally
• Cleaning cupboards and shelves
• Cleaning doors and door frames
• Cleaning switches and sockets externally
• Cleaning sinks and washbasins
• Cleaning mirrors
• Removal of normal dust and dirt accumulation

For studios, the service also includes cleaning of the bathroom, shower and toilet.

What is not included?
The service does not include:
• Painting
• Repairs
• Damage restoration
• Removal of stickers or adhesive residues
• Removal of excessive mold
• Professional stain removal
• Furniture removal
• Disposal of large quantities of waste
• Cleaning resulting from excessive neglect
• Removal of limescale build up requiring specialist treatment
• Cleaning of areas that are inaccessible due to remaining belongings

What happens if the room is excessively dirty?
If the accommodation requires work beyond a normal cleaning service, the moving out cleaning service will not take place, and the issues are dealt with based on the damage assessment you received after the precheckout and checkout inspection.

Can I leave belongings behind?
Yes. If so, be sure to select waste removal as optional choice through the order form.

Can I order the service if I am no longer in the Netherlands?
Yes. As long as your checkout did not take place yet.

How much does the service cost?
Current rates are shown on the order form. The total amount depends on the accommodation type and any optional services selected.

When do I have to pay?
Payment is required immediately when submitting the order form. The booking becomes binding once payment has been successfully completed.

Can I cancel my booking?
No, since the work is scheduled immediately with the cleaning company.

Will I receive confirmation?
Yes. Once payment has been completed successfully, a confirmation will be sent to you.

Who performs the cleaning?
The cleaning is performed by a third party cleaning provider. Depending on the location of the property. Beter Beheer B.V. only facilitates the coordination and administration of the service on behalf of the property owner.
